Dr. Matthew Stottle
Dr. Matthew Stottle is a fellowship trained, double Board-Certified, Interventional Pain Medicine Physician serving the Omaha Metro and its surrounding areas.
Dr. Stottle was transplanted from Florida to Nebraska at a young age and after spending the last 25 years here, he is proud to call the “Cornhusker State” home. After graduating from a local Nebraska high school, he moved on to his undergraduate training at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he studied Biological Science and Business Administration. His free time was spent in the lab performing genetics research while during the summer he would work at the Childs Savings Institute as a youth counselor.
Dr. Stottle was then accepted into the School of Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he received his Medical Doctorate. After graduating he was admitted into an Anesthesiology residency program at the UNMC department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. During his final year in residency training, Dr. Stottle had several patient encounters with patients in chronic pain. Due to these experiences he grew increasingly interested in the management of chronic pain and helping patients through interventional management.
After completing residency he spent time in private practice as a Staff Anesthesiologist at Lakeside Hospital. Although he was content, he still harbored a desire to help patients with chronic pain. He then went on to obtain additional expertise in Pain Management by joining one of the country’s top ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship training programs at the world famous John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago, IL. During his fellowship, Dr. Stottle was involved in many clinical trials, which concentrated on treating chronic pain with a multimodal approach. Dr. Stottle is double board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He and his wife Angel have one son named Von.

Dr. Grzegorz Skiba
Dr. Skiba founded Omaha Pain in 2010. He has recently moved to Miami where he enjoys running, jet-skiing, and seeing the occasional patient.
A Poland native, Dr. Skiba received his Medical Doctorate at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland. After completing an internship at his hometown hospitals, he began research in the field of liver diseases at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Great Britain. Since then, he has co-authored several scientific papers on liver transplantation. During that time, he also developed a strong interest in Anesthesiology.
After moving to the United States and passing strict American licensing examinations, Dr. Skiba was admitted into an Anesthesiology residency program at the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He completed his internship in General Surgery at the Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
In his final years of the residency training, Dr. Skiba developed a strong interest in the management of pain that extends far beyond patient’s experience of surgery and the operating room. Because of this commitment, he went on to obtain additional expertise in Pain Medicine by joining one of the country’s top ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship training programs at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, TX. During this fellowship, Dr. Skiba co-authored an online Pain Management Course for Latin American Physicians.
